Managing Partner

Ayman has lived and worked in Dubai for 12 years, educated in Canada, he graduated from McGill University with honours in International Business & Entrepreneurship.
He started his career in Events Management for just over 1 year working in the UAE & Qatar. Ayman worked at L’Oreal Luxury Division for 4 years in Regional Marketing (Product Management, Marketing, PR & events). He worked on several brands including Helena Rubinstein, Kiehl’s and finally on Lancôme make-up, skincare & fragrance.
He moved on to set up and head the Marketing & PR department for the regional luxury retailer Villa Moda, developing the communications and marketing strategies for each market (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain), establishing strong relationships with media partners & VIPs around the region.



Managing Partner

Dipesh has lived and worked in Dubai for 23 years. Educated in the UK and Switzerland, he brings a truly global and professional perspective to the needs of luxury brands in the region

Formerly head of a group of companies, which include ASAAT, one of the leading food distribution companies in the region established since 1969, handling companies such as Nestle, Luna, Priya and many others, Depala International, Richesse ltd.

Elysee llc, which is the luxury brand division of his business, under which he has represented brands such as Herve Leger, Ayesha Depala, Jo Malone, Gina, La Mer, and Korloff Paris.

Under his stewardship, Ayesha Depala today has become one of the most prolific and respected designer womenswear brands to emerge from this region, with a presence all around the world. A true homegrown success story! It is this same dedication that he aims to bring all his clients and give their brands the best possible communication and creative direction.



Communication Director

Holder of a Bachelor degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the Lebanese University in Lebanon, Rania moved to Dubai in 2004 to start her PR career. To date, Rania has accumulated 10 years of hands on PR experience, taking on successful PR roles in both agency and in-house positions in companies such as Euro RSCG, Boutique 1 and Papillon Communications.

Having worked in different service oriented industries in Lebanon, Rania used her experience to navigate her way successfully in the luxury and lifestyle industries and establish longstanding media relations. Rania’s outstanding reputation as a PR professional and performance in various PR roles led her to join the Qode at the early stages of the company’s inception. Her can-do attitude, commitment and eagerness to achieve results and exceed expectations were driving factors behind her professional growth. Her determination to gain client satisfaction led her to deliver successful PR campaigns across a wide range of luxury brands spanning various industries such as fashion, fragrances, cosmetics, art, watches and jewelry, as well as entertainment, hospitality, and F&B.



Head of Events

Senior Member of Event Management Team with exposure to international Event Management, Wasia is a highly articulate and a top negotiator ensuring clients avail of the best possible prices. She has proven her ability to work under pressure in fast paced environments. She has excellent communication skills and a friendly but firm disposition to interact effectively with an eye for perfection.

Recognized for her event management skills in delivering successful projects the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) before joining The Qode, using her strong creative and leadership skills to manage internal and external teams.



Communications Director

Shimaa has spent the last 12 years living and working in Dubai. Moving
from the UK where she graduated from The London College of Fashion,
Shimaa has had her feet firmly lodged in the PR World. She has worked on
a very diverse portfolio of brands ranging from high-end luxury fashion & beauty to hospitality, to automotive to banking & finance brands. She took
a short break from PR when she joined Villa Moda Lifestyle, and filled the
post of Business Development Manager. There, she primarily worked on
the development of a variety of real estate and art & culture projects. Within her PR roles, Shimaa has led on accounts such as: Lancôme, Kiehl’s, Moda Operandi, Berluti, Cesare Paciotti, H&M, Elemis UK, Cleopatra’s Spa, Chaumet, Celine, Fendi, Swarovski, Tanagra, Evian, Peugeot and Emirates NBD Bank.



Senior Communications Manager

Shaheena’s thirst for creativity, love for fashion and her 10 years experience in PR from both the UK and UAE, were the forces behind her move to The Qode, where she is now an Account Manager across lifestyle, beauty and hospitality clients. Her Pakistani roots with her British upbringing, coupled with her ambitious and can-do attitude will ensure that clients and journalists alike enjoy her proactive and professional approach. Graduating in Scotland with a degree in PR and Media, Shaheena started her career in Edinburgh where she was fortunate to work across a broad range of clients including Waitrose, Edinburgh Festivals and the Scottish Government, to name but a few. Moving half way across the world to Dubai in 2012, Shaheena’s career vastly propelled where she spent two years working with Hill+Knowlton Strategies on Flash Entertainment, Porsche ME and OSN. She then spent the next six months dedicating her work to consumer PR at House of Comms, adding Done events, Grosvenor House Hotel, The Nail Spa, Palmer’s and Koi Restaurant and Lounge, to her consumer client portfolio.



Communications Manager

Farah started her career as a journalist working on the ifestyle editorial team for the International Herald Tribune (now New York Times International) for three years. She then moved to the world of Public Relations where she headed the Communications departments at hotels in UAE, Qatar and Egypt including Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt and Fairmont for six years. Meanwhile Farah has also been an integral part of the Media Team at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland as well as the regional conferences in Morocco, China, Jordan and Egypt.

Farah pursued both her graduate and undergraduate degrees at American University in Cairo majoring in Mass Communications. She also spent a semester at the prestigious fashion institution Central Saint Martins in London. Worth noting, at seven months Farah got her first modeling gig and was photographed for the cover of Cuddlies (number one baby diapers brand in Egypt). She dabbled in modeling on and off and was the face of Colgate and Cadbury Éclair as a teenager. Farah has written several magazine columns including, most recent, ‘Miss Oh Lala’ published monthly in Bahrain and Qatar.



Senior Communications Manager

After graduating from the Manipal Institute of Communication (India), with a degree in Journalism and Mass communication, Gopika moved to the UAE to launch her career in the PR industry.

With a creative mind and an inbuilt flair for writing, Gopika has worked as an intern and a freelance writer for a number of leading publications in India.

Always enthusiastic to try her hands at something new, Gopika joined The Qode team as a PR Executive to add her knowledge and pave her way to a successful career path in the public relations field.



Communications Executive

Mariam’s creative mindset paired with her background in various channels of the fashion industry is what drove her to pursue a position at The Qode.

Mariam carries her Pakistani background, her experiences of watching Dubai transform over 15 years, and her platform of living and studying in the US across all aspects of her personal and professional career.

She pursued an education in fine arts, specializing in fashion design, and has become proficient in the managing, marketing, and PR side of fashion. She has a keen interest in writing, philanthrophy, and cuisine, and worked for six months as Saks Fifth Avenue Dubai before joining The Qode where she will surely be a great addition to the team.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from top hospitality school Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, in June of 2013.

Since then, she moved to Dubai to pursue a career in the fast-pace world of public relations and started her journey with business and technology clients at Active PR. The experience she gained prepared her to work with the industries she always felt passionate for, namely fashion, beauty and F&B, which led her to the doorsteps of The Qode.

Being a Swiss native growing up in Latin America, and receiving an international education in countries such as Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Venezuela gave her the opportunity to meet all kinds of people of different cultures and style.

This experience formed her truly personable and outgoing persona and is the reason why she felt her calling lied in PR. Lisa is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communications from Richmond University in London, Lyaila moved to Dubai in 2009 to launch her career. She began working at the Royal Bank of Scotland, one of the leading retail banks in the region, where she was working on PR & Communications.. With a passion
for fashion, beauty and lifestyle, Lyaila recently joined The Qode to further pursue her career within those sectors of the Public Relations industry.

Being of Pakistani origin, with roots extending all over the world,
she has spent her life moving from country to country, receiving an international education in locations such as Nigeria, Kenya and Saudi Arabia. Not only has her upbringing given her the opportunity to meet people from all over the world but has also contributed to her charming and affable nature which has led to her seamless integration into the family at The Qode.



Communications Executive

Maria Razvi graduated with honours from Barnard College at Columbia University with a Bachelor›s degree in Psychology and Religion. During her time in New York City, Maria had the unique opportunity to work at two prominent outfits in the fashion and beauty segments - first in the fashion department of the O, Oprah Winfrey›s lifestyle magazine, and next in Lancome USA›s PR team. Maria has also worked in marketing and sales at Pepsi in her hometown - Lahore, Pakistan - where she grew up.

Maria met her husband at Columbia and moved to Dubai in 2014 after getting married, and is loving being here as she looks forward to new and exciting opportunities at The Qode.



Events Executive

Having graduated in 2014 from GLION, one of the top three Hospitality management schools in the world, Alex decided it was time to change direction and move out of the hospitality industry. In keeping with the passion of
the service industry it made sense to move into Events, an industry that is constantly thriving for innovative ideas and demands enthusiasm and love for the work. Although he is new to the events side of life, he worked for one year in the Food and Beverage department where he was able to re-open a lounge/bar in the prestigious hotel, Habtoor Grand Beach Resort and Spa in Dubai.

Alex was born in Hong Kong but holds a Dutch passport and having spent most of his life moving to new countries, making home in a new location is never a challenge. Alex is fluent in English and Dutch and at conversational level in German. Having worked as a Ski Instructor and as a Divemaster, Alex is no stranger to the motto of “Work Hard, Play Hard” and believes it is the perfect balance between the two that’s helps create a harmonious work ethic.



Communications Assistant

Coming from a Filipino-Chinese background, Michael started as
a Peer Educator in the United Nations Population Fund in the Philippines. While working there, he gained a tremendous amount
of exposure interacting with people across many different cultures, which led him to explore the multicultural hub of the Middle East. Dubai allowed his love for fashion and creativity to flourish, directing him to start a career as a Visual Merchandiser. Michael handled

a division of European children’s brands (Orchestra Prémaman, Charanga & Gocco), which included 15 stores across the UAE as well as stores from Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

In 2013, Michael joined The Qode as Public Relations Assistant where he found his true passion for luxury PR. Supporting his team with his hard work, strong organizational skills, creativity and determination has guided him to fulfill his position as the backbone of the PR team.
